Somewhere along a dirt path, engulfed in silence and days of sweat turning to fine salt, I realized I felt better. How long does one feel better in the moment before the moment becomes a baseline? How do you specify the ingredients needed to create microshifts in a heart? I don't know, but I plan to give myself time, space and an expanse of terrain to find out.
